The travel and tourism industry is a dynamic and fast-growing sector accounting for over 2.1 million
jobs in the United Kingdom. Studying with us will help you to develop the relevant skills and knowledge
to gain employment within this ever expanding industry. Our facilities include a simulated aircraft
cabin and airline check in area for a real life learning experience. All our teaching staff have previously
worked in the travel and tourism industry and have a wealth of practical and relevant experience, as
well as great links with employers with whom we work to provide routes into employment.
Many of our students go on to find work in the airline industry, including at British Airways, Emirates
Airlines, Monarch Airlines, Heathrow Terminals 3 & 5 and Swissport, with whom we have an Academy
Partnership. Some of the roles they take on are in customs, security, customer services, passenger
meet and greet, passenger services and more.
The College’s Travel & Tourism courses are designed to help students develop the relevant skills
and knowledge they need to gain employment within the airline industry. The College supports the
expansion of Heathrow and is helping provide people in the west London area with relevant skills,
with a view to make local people more employable and to benefit from the jobs that the Heathrow
expansion will create.
