PicaJet is a natural competitor to Google’s Picasa, being pitched at the same category of
user. Most reviewers have found it superior to Picasa, and the phrase “Picasa-killer” has
been occasionally mentioned. Given Google’s reach, that was never going to happen,
especially as Picasa is also completely free. Yet PicaJet has so many virtues, such as speed
of import, RAW support, and efficient sorting, that it could well be useful to serious
photographers with large collections of images.
