Description
Kodak Matchprint enables accurate, consistent viewing of CMYK color reproduction
on LCD computer monitors. It is easy to use, offers one-button monitor calibration,
has SWOP certification, and supports a relatively small number of high-quality monitors
including Apple Cinema Displays. It derives a spectrophotometric model from a
hard copy reference of the user’s choice and then makes the necessary transformations
for display on the RGB monitor. Color rendition options include newspaper, SWOP,
or Matchprint Software Colors. Quality is maintained by a five-minute calibration of
each monitor every 24 hours using a Kodak-supplied colorimeter.
Features of Kodak Matchprint include dual-monitor support, zooming to pixel level,
and ability to annotate the image with on-screen notes.
