Apollonius states that % has the image of a man wearing a<br />

rope wrapped around him. He is sitting on an eagle, putting his<br />

legs on its shoulders and holding the rest of the rope in his right<br />

hand. In The Interpretation of Spiritual Talismans, Z is portrayed<br />

as a man with the face of a lion, the legs of a bird and a dragon<br />

with faces under his feet. He is holding an arrow in his right<br />

hand stabbing the head of the dragon. In The Benefits of Rocks, it<br />

is delineated as a man wearing a garment, riding on a dragon<br />

and holding either a rod or a spear in his hand. Others<br />

symbolize Z, in its orbit, as a man riding on an eagle. He holds a<br />

scroll in his right hand and a nut in his left hand. His apparel is<br />

pure yellow.<br />

MARS<br />

Apollonius states that it has an image of a man wearing a<br />

helmet and a shield, and fastening a sword to his belt. In The<br />

Interpretation of Spiritual Talismans, it is symbolized as a<br />

crowned man holding a sword with carved figures on it. The<br />

Benefits of the Rocks of Mercury states that it has the image of a<br />

standing naked man and a statue of a virgin woman<br />

representing 9 standing at his right-hand side with her hair<br />

braided behind her. cf is putting his right hand around her neck<br />

and his left hand on her chest and at the same time looking at<br />

her face. He claims in his book that this image has many effects.<br />

Others state that o' has the image of a man riding on a lion with<br />

a sword in his right hand and a human head in his left hand.<br />

His attire is made of iron and ifrind .<br />

These are the images that have been presented by the ancient<br />

philosophers. For every one of these images, there are special<br />

actions and effects. I will cite in the following treatises some of<br />

the texts of what they wrote in this field.<br />
