This is what I have seen of the magical charms, the
weird incenses and the marvelous talismans of the Indians
knowledge. The Nabataeans and the Syrians are the most
knowledgeable people in this held and Ibn Wahshiyah has
mentioned so much of their knowledge in his book that I
will be referring to some of it in the next chapters of the
book.
