I have come across a treatise, which deals with making<br />

talismans, written by Abu Bakr Ibn Muhammad Ibn Zakariyya<br />

Al-Razi, a well-known and distinguished Arab philosopher. I<br />

included this valuable treatise in my book which I entitled The<br />

History of Arab Philosophers. I referred to some of his miraculous<br />

themes he presented in this treatise. He included in this treatise<br />

some relationships which he claims he tested. Some of what he<br />

says in this regard is that talismans for sympathy, love and<br />
