In 2016, Nuuk, Greenland, will host the Games. Nuuk,<br />
the world’s northernmost capital, is located about 240 kilometers<br />
south of the Arctic Circle. It’s also one of the world’s<br />
smallest capital cities with a population of about 17,000.<br />

Lukasi Nappaaluk. Along with acting as a cultural ambassador by helping open a special<br />
exhibit sponsored by the Avataq Cultural Institute and KRG, Nappaaluk also believes<br />
in the power of sport. “When the young people have something to do, it’s good for the<br />
mind, it’s good for the body and it’s good for the life,” he says.<br />
