Hamad Buamim has been the<br />
President & CEO of the Dubai<br />
Chamber of Commerce & Industry<br />
since November 2006. He also serves<br />
as the Deputy Chairman of the World<br />
Chambers Federation-ICC in Paris.<br />
Educated in the United States,<br />
Buamim graduated Magna Cum<br />
Laude from the University of<br />
Southern California - Los Angeles in<br />
1996 with a Bachelor of Science in<br />
Electrical Engineering Degree. In<br />
20<strong>02</strong>, he obtained an MBA with<br />
Honors in Finance from the University<br />
o f M i s s o u r i - K a n s a s C i t y.<br />
Buamim is also the Chairman of the<br />
National General Insurance (PJSC),<br />
member of the Board of Directors of<br />
the UAE Central Bank, and Dubai<br />
World. He is also the Chairman of<br />
Hawkamah, MENA Institute of<br />
Corporate Governance.<br />
Previously, Buamim served at the<br />
boards of various organizations<br />
including EmiratesNBD Bank (PJSC),<br />
Emirates Financial Services, ENBD<br />
Capital, Kerzner International,<br />
Atlantis the Palm Hotel, Union<br />
Properties (PJSC) and Network<br />
International.<br />
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce<br />
and Industry<br />
Formed in 1965, the Dubai Chamber<br />
of Commerce and Industry is a nonprofit<br />
public organization whose<br />
mission is to represent, support and<br />
protect the interests of the business<br />
community in Dubai.<br />

bringing to 201,000 its total<br />
membership and making it one of the<br />
