Error ‘License server operation failed’
When you start FlippingBook Publisher and get a ‘License server
operation failed’ error then can often be solved as follows:

◆In the small login box when starting FlippingBook Publisher,
click Settings

◆Change the Connection type to Automatic. (If you know your
proxy-credentials, you can also set this to Custom Proxy Server
and enter them manually)

◆Click the Check connection-button

◆If you see a window called Connection successful (all the
checkmarks are green) then press OK twice and try to log in
again.

◆If you can't login although all the connection test is succesful
OR only the last checkmark is red, then try the following:
◆◆Close ALL FlippingBook related windows, including error
messages, the login window and any settings window.
◆◆press the Windows-key and the R-key at the same time.
◆◆in the Open field type %temp% and press Enter.
◆◆Find the CachedServiceDiscovery.xml file and delete it.
◆◆Try to start FlippingBook Publisher.

◆If you see more red checkmarks, then something in your
company’s network is blocking the connection to our server.
Contact your network administrators and show them the
information on the opposite page. They will have to make some
changes to the network settings.
