5 MR. EISENBRANDT: For the purpose of notice of the<br />
6 Mass, simply that it appeared in the newspaper, not for the<br />
7 veracity of the contents of the document.<br />
8 THE COURT: Was the newspaper announcement, do you<br />
9 know who originated the printed words that are in the<br />
10 newspaper? Was it the Church that sent it out, if you know?<br />
11 THE WITNESS: Yes, it was Jorge Pinto, the son of<br />
12 Mrs. Pinto.<br />
13 THE COURT: All right. The exhibit which is 115 is<br />
14 received in evidence for the limited purpose of this was<br />
15 announcing the Mass that was to be conducted by Archbishop<br />
16 <strong>Romero</strong> on the 24th of March.<br />

18 BY MR. EISENBRANDT:<br />
19 Q. The next day after the assassination, what did you do?<br />
20 A. I arrived at my job at the Fourth Court of Criminal cases,<br />
21 and I began to order. I ordered the files and the book of<br />
22 acknowledgment, so that we could transcribe it.<br />
23 I would also like to add that the court was extremely<br />
24 busy. We had over 3,000 criminal cases, trials pending. And<br />
<strong>25</strong> we had to take care of the most urgent things, such as<br />
