Turkey’s trade volume with Africa has<br />
reached 22 billion in 2018<br />

hacmi 22 milyar dolara ulaşmıştır<br />

of the 41 embassies, 26 offices of the commercial counsellor,<br />
21 Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency<br />
(TİKA) offices, 8 Turkish cultural centers and 17 Turkish<br />
Maarif Foundation Schools that Turkey has reached are<br />
emphasized. Another matter that attracts attention in<br />
terms of transportability is that Turkish Airlines is flying to<br />
37 countries and 55 cities.<br />
Can you give information about the returns that<br />
will be provided by the cooperation to be made<br />
between Turkey and the third countries in the<br />
continent?<br />
Considering the size of Africa and needs of the countries<br />
as parallel to this, and the sociocultural structure<br />
differences between regions, it is seen that no country<br />
has unlimited facilities in terms of supplying the needs<br />
of the continent. Because of the mentioned situation, this<br />
time need for cooperation with third countries in Africa<br />
arises. In this exact point, one should mention Turkey’s<br />
success in work culture abroad and the factors behind<br />
it. The ability of the Turkish countries on easily fitting all<br />
geography, climate, society and working conditions and<br />
their experience in the international field in this direction<br />
are undeniable facts. Also, the fact that Turkish people can<br />
complete the work they undertook within the given budget<br />
and stated standards, their successful crisis management,<br />
ticaret müşavirliği, 21 TİKA ofisi, 8 Türk kültür merkezi<br />
ve 17 Türk Maarif Vakfı Okulunun payını da vurgulamak<br />
yerinde olacaktır. Ayrıca Türk Hava Yollarının Afrika’da<br />
37 ülke ve 55 şehre uçması da ulaşılabilirlik anlamında<br />
dikkat çeken bir husustur.<br />
Türkiye’nin kıtada üçüncü ülkelerle yapacağı iş<br />
birliklerinin taraflara sağlayacağı getirilerden<br />
bahseder misiniz?<br />
Afrika’nın büyüklüğü, buna paralel olarak ülkelerin gereksinimleri<br />
ve bölgeler arasındaki sosyokültürel yapı<br />
farklılıkları da ele alındığında kıtanın ihtiyaçlarını karşılama<br />
konusunda hiçbir ülkenin sınırsız imkânlara sahip<br />
olmadığı görülmektedir. Söz konusu durum nedeniyle<br />
bu kez de Afrika’da üçüncü ülkelerle yapılacak iş birliklerine<br />
olan ihtiyaç ortaya çıkmaktadır. Tam bu noktada<br />
Türkiye’nin yurt dışı iş kültüründeki başarılarından ve<br />
bunların ardındaki faktörlerden bahsetmek gerekir. Türk<br />
şirketlerinin her türlü coğrafya, iklim, toplum ve iş şartlarına<br />
kolay uyum sağlayabilme yeteneği ve uluslararası<br />
sahada bu doğrultuda edindiği tecrübeler su götürmez bir<br />
gerçektir. Ayrıca Türklerin üstlendikleri işi verilen bütçeye<br />
ve belirtilen standartlara uygun yapabilmesi, başarılı kriz<br />
yönetimi, risk algılarının ve/veya risk ölçüm kriterlerinin<br />
diğer Batı ülkelerine göre göreceli daha düşük olması ve<br />
özellikle de empati yapabilme becerisi; Afrika devletleri<br />
