AFRICA: THE NEW MARKET OF THE TURKISH EXPORTERS The reduction of purchase of the European Union, which is the traditional export market of Turkey, by giving in to the global crisis and the bad affairs in Europe-Turkey relations in recent years are directed Turkish exporters to a search for a new market. While Turkish companies have directed to the Middle East, Turkic Republics, and especially the African markets, the most significant improvement was made by Africa. The fact that Africa, which is an unexplored market, needs every product in almost every sector gives the opportunity to Turkish exporters on marketing their wide range of products. MANY MORE COMMERCIAL VOYAGES SHOULD BE MADE TO AFRICA The fact that the economies of the countries in the continent are small shows that their growth numbers are more positive compared to the developed countries. There should be definitely more commercial voyages made to African countries and various events should be organized. Also, conveniences should be provided in visa to the continent countries and the visits between the two countries should be eased. The result of the meeting between the countries will include definitely some serious economic results. The African continent that has to import almost 95 percent of the industrial products are importing over 250 billion dollars every year. It provides an additional advantage to the investors who want to enter the market with its closed economic structure because this enables to be affected by the crises in minimum level. Ayrıca kıtanın yaklaşık 1.3 milyarlık nüfusu, zengin yer altı kaynakları ve artan kişi başı geliri de bölgeyi cazip kılan diğer özellikler olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. TÜRK İHRACATÇISININ YENI PAZARI AFRIKA Türkiye’nin geleneksel ihracat pazarı olan Avrupa Birliği’nin küresel krize yenik düşerek alımını azaltması ve son yıllardaki Avrupa-Türkiye ilişkilerindeki kötü gidişat, Türk ihracatçısını yeni pazar arayışına yöneltti. Türk şirketleri Orta Doğu’ya, Türki cumhuriyetlere ve özellikle de Afrika pazarlarına yönelirken bunlar arasında en kayda değer gelişmeyi Afrika sağladı. Yeni ve keşfedilmemiş bir pazar niteliği taşıyan Afrika’nın neredeyse her alanda ürüne ihtiyacının olması, Türk ihracatçılarına burada geniş yelpazede pek çok ürünü pazarlama şansı veriyor. AFRIKA’YA DAHA FAZLA TICARI SEFER YAPILMALI Kıtadaki ülkelerin ekonomilerinin küçük olması, büyüme rakamlarının gelişmiş ülkelere göre daha pozitif olduğunu göstermektedir. Afrika ülkelerine kesinlikle daha fazla ticari sefer yapılmalı ve çeşitli organizasyonlar düzenlenmelidir. Ayrıca kıta ülkelerine vize yaptırımlarında kolaylık sağlanmalı ve iki ülke arasındaki ziyaretlerin kolaylaştırılması da gerekmektedir. Karşılıklı yapılacak her görüşmeden kesinlikle ciddi ekonomik sonuçlar çıkacaktır. Sanayi ürünlerinin yüzde 95’ine yakın kısmını ithal etmek zorunda kalan Afrika kıtası, her yıl 250 milyar doların üzerinde ithalat yapmaktadır. Kapalı bir ekonomik yapıya sahip olması nedeniyle krizin etkilerinin minimum düzeyde hissediliyor olması ise pazara girmek isteyen yatırımcılar için artı bir avantaj sağlamaktadır. 94
