PLAYGROUND SAFETY
All City playground areas are unsupervised. Parents and guardians
assume all risks for children playing on equipment. Users are
cautioned that the shock absorption of falls onto the safety surfacing
is reduced by freezing temperatures and compaction due to heavy
use. The City regularly inspects all equipment for maintenance
purposes, however, we appreciate calls from the public notifying
us of any broken or vandalized park equipment when observed.
Contact Service Barrie at (705) 726-4242 or ServiceBarrie@barrie.ca.
