VIRTUAL REALITY
CHARACTER DESIGN CAMP
This camp is for every child interested in 3D Character Design and
Virtual Reality (VR)! Campers will learn how to create industry
level, high resolution and textured 3D characters from their favourite
movies and video games. These characters will later be added
to their own personalized environments that can be used in animations,
video games and seen with VR devices. KGM will bring
in the VR goggles so campers can enjoy their amazing work!

EARTH CHALLENGE - ARCHERY CAMP
Be challenged through nature based activities. You will enjoy
games, hiking and canoeing. Then build on your basic archery
skills and knowledge. Have fun learning safety rules, basic techniques
of aiming and shooting during target practice, and basic
equipment care. This camp will be swimming weather permitting.

EXTREME TEENS CAMP
Calling all campers who are ready for fun trips this summer!
Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy trips such as rock
climbing, Go-Karts, Canada’s Wonderland, Trampolining and
Bowling (trips subject to change due to venue availability and
weather)! Note: Admission fees and busing are included. Campers
may be bussed outside of Barrie for field trips. Campers
may also be swimming depending on the field trip for that day.
Information on trip destinations and consent forms will be sent
the week prior to the start of the camp.

LEADER IN TRAINING 1
LIT 1 is an introductory leadership program perfect for youth
looking to work with children. Participants will enjoy fun, camp
style games and activities that will provide a basic understanding
of working in a camp environment. Participants will build their
skills of resume writing to interviewing. LIT’s will be required to
complete 3 hours of camp placement on the final day of the program.
Successful completion of the program is the pre-requisite
for LIT 2.

LEADER IN TRAINING 2
LIT 2 is the follow-up program to LIT 1. This more intensive
program will provide participants with specific training to
work in a day camp environment. Participants will receive a
strong focus on leadership, working with children and how to
facilitate games and activities for large groups. Participants will
also receive certification in HIGH FIVE - Principles of Healthy
Child Development. ** Please note this is a 2- week program -
week 1 will be classroom style learning with some games and
activities, followed by 1 week of camp placement for successful
completion of the program. Once the program has been
completed, there will be opportunities for additional volunteer
hours in camp. This camp will be swimming. ***Participants
who have previously completed Leader In Training 1 and have
completed grade 9, are automatically eligible for LIT 2. ** ALL
participants must have completed grade 9 to register in the LIT 2
program.
