THE RAD CLUB
Join us in this 18+ program that aims to provide a safe, dynamic,
and stimulating space for individuals of all abilities to socialize
with their peers. The RAD (Recreation for Adults with Disabilities)
Club explores various avenues including active living, artistic
expression and daily living skills like cooking and basic financial
management. Through these activities, adults will learn basic
practical skills while encouraging independence, building confidence,
and facilitating socialization to culminate in meaningful
relationships and more informed daily living. Participants must
be able to participate successfully in a 1:5 staff to participant
ratio. Note: If a participant requires 1:1 support, please contact
Inclusion Services as soon as possible to determine if a staff is
available.

ADAPTED/integrated CAMPS
INCLUSION 1:1 SUPPORT - CAMP
A 1:1 support staff is available at any camp to facilitate participation
in camp activities, provide redirection for safety reasons, and
allow opportunities for breaks (sensory, emotional, etc). Assistance
with personal care is available provided it can be facilitated
by one person. If registering into Inclusion 1:1 Support, please
ensure the participant is also registered into a corresponding
camp program. Any 1:1 Support cancellations that take
place 3 business days or less prior to the start of the program
will not be refunded

Preschool
KINDER SENSE
This integrated option is specifically designed for campers with
special needs and runs in conjunction with the various mainstream
preschool camps at the respective centers (as specified
below) and offers a 1:2 staff to participant ratio in that camp
setting. Kinder Sense campers will enjoy a variety of indoor and
outdoor activities, themedays and special events. For further

Camps section of the guide. For an adapted preschool camp option,
please see “Mini Sense”.

MINI SENSE
This camp provides a safe, supported and inclusive environment
for the little ones in your life! In this preschool aged adapted
program, campers will engage in a variety of fun activities including
arts and crafts, outdoor play, singing, dancing, imaginative
play, story time, water play, and plenty of other adventures!
This camp is perfect for kiddos who would benefit from smaller
group sizes and more individualized attention. This camp differs
from the Kinder Sense program in that it does not integrate into
a mainstream preschool camp. A 1:2 staff to participant adapted
ratio will be provided.

ACTION SENSE
This camp provides something for everyone! In a sensory aware
environment catered to the individualized strengths of each
camper, participants will engage in a variety of active games, arts
and crafts and special camp activities that aim to enhance social
participation, encourage confidence, build meaningful friendships
and have fun with peers. A 1:3 staff to participant ratio will
be provided. Campers will visit the splash pad on site.

EARTH SENSE
Campers will get active, get outside, and ignite their curiosity
through a variety of adventures and experiments! This camp
provides a safe and supported environment for the development
of recreational skills through friendship building activities,
discovery based learning, outdoor play, connecting with nature,
and traditional camp games. A 1:3 staff to participant ratio will
be provided. This camp will visit the splash pad on site.
