Group Fitness Classes

(Land & Water)

The City of Barrie offers coed fitness classes suitable for all

levels of experience. Find your favourite or try them all!

There are a variety to choose from including;

• Cardio, Muscle and Combination Classes

• Yoga, Pilates and Stretching

• Bootcamps, Athletic workouts

• Cycling, exercise ball, barbell classes

• Aqua Fit for both swimmers and non-swimmers (shallow

& deep water)

Classes range in length from 30-90 minutes and our

leaders are qualified instructors who can motivate you to

reach your fitness goals. 15 minutes before most classes

an instructor is available to help you set up, give tips and

answer questions about choosing an appropriate level.

Intensity options are provided in all classes. You are

encouraged to wear comfortable, clean workout clothing

and indoor athletic footwear. Water bottles are highly

recommended.

Equipment is available on a first come, first serve basis.

For Cycling and barbell “Pumped Up” classes sign up is

available 15 min before the class. You must be in the

centre to sign up and only one signature per person.

Personal Training

and Small Group Training

City of Barrie Personal Trainers are certified and can help

you reach your personal goals quickly and effectively.

Learn correct exercise form and proper techniques to get

the results you want. There are no long term contracts and

sessions are purchased by the hour.

1:1 PRIVATE TRAINING

$49.00 1 Session - 1 hour

2:1 PARTNER TRAINING

$36.00 per person/1 session - 1 hour

Get the best value for your dollar. Two people share the

expertise of a trainer during their workout. Working out

with a friend, co-worker or loved one is a great way to

have fun and increase motivation.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING (3-5 people)

$27.00 per person - 1 hour session

A group of 3-5 people with similar goals can motivate

you to achieve your personal best. There are no makeup

sessions.

TEAM TRAINING (Max. 20 people)

$90.00/hr

Sport specific, age and stage appropriate training is

provided by experienced trainers. There are no makeup

sessions.
