Personal Capacity
Table 51 examines the self perceived level of preparedness of officials in the
area of policy management. The table seeks to explore the self perceived
state of readiness of District professional staff to undertake responsibilities in
respect to policy. The data is again quite revealing. Only a relatively small
percentage of officials have assessed themselves as having a high state of
readiness to undertake policy management responsibilities as noted.
Respondents feel least ready in working with SGBs and SMTs in respect to
policy and in providing assistance in policy formulation and implementation
(Table 52).
