• Assist principal <strong>and</strong> SMT with equitable deployment <strong>of</strong> staff <strong>and</strong> resources to<br />

facilitate teaching <strong>and</strong> learning<br />

• Assist Principal <strong>and</strong> SMT in maintaining effective partnerships between<br />

parents <strong>and</strong> school staff to promote effective teaching <strong>and</strong> learning<br />

• Ensure the availability <strong>of</strong> adequate teaching <strong>and</strong> learning resources in<br />

schools<br />

• Provide guidance <strong>and</strong> assistance in learners assessment<br />

• Assist Principal in organizing <strong>and</strong> managing examinations<br />

• Ensure promotion schedules are done according to relevant system<br />

• Facilitate screening <strong>of</strong> resource materials to ensure that relevant materials<br />

are available<br />

• Facilitate <strong>and</strong> co-ordinate the distribution <strong>of</strong> stock to schools<br />

• Facilitate the process <strong>of</strong> acquiring learning materials<br />

Management Intervention<br />

• Ensure that requisitions, returns <strong>and</strong> surveys are submitted timeously by<br />

Principal <strong>and</strong> responsible <strong>of</strong>ficials<br />

• Ensure that all record books are in place <strong>and</strong> up to date<br />

• Ensure the SGBs <strong>and</strong> RCLs are elected<br />

• Ensure that SGBs <strong>and</strong> RCLs are elected<br />

• Ensure that SGB <strong>and</strong> RCL elections are planned <strong>and</strong> run effectively<br />

Planning Interventions<br />

• Assisting schools in the preparation <strong>of</strong> school development <strong>and</strong> other plans<br />

• Ensure that plans <strong>and</strong> programmes for schools are properly developed<br />

• Guide, co-ordinate <strong>and</strong> support principals in whole school development<br />

Budget & Finance Management<br />

• Advise Principal, SMTs <strong>and</strong> SGBs on school budgets, financial statements<br />

<strong>and</strong> audited reports<br />

• Advise schools on the planning, utilization <strong>and</strong> monitoring <strong>of</strong> budgets in<br />

order to meet school objectives<br />
