The world is constantly changing. From time to time, we have seen newtraditions, new expressions, new markets, new professions. A few years ago, it wouldbe virtually impossible to imagine how much technology - and its derivatives - wouldchange our lives.We at Vale are proud to be involved in many changes and to support projectsthat have this purpose in our history. With this concept, the Panorama Setorial daCultura Brasileira (Sectorial Panorama of Brazilian Culture research) emerges, whoseobjective is to investigate the productive chain of Brazilian culture. Being partners inthis initiative has greatly important for Vale. Firstly because it is an innovative projectand secondly for treating in a serious and respectful manner a sector we consider tobe of utmost importance, the cultural one.Through a careful research with the main players of this chain, as producersand cultural managers, financers and supporters of the culture spread to the fourcorners of Brazil, the Sectorial Panorama of Brazilian Culture aims to facilitate theactivities of the professionals from the information provided on the market, in additionto collaborating to understand the process of production of culture in Brazil.We believe that fostering discussion on the subject and working to improve thissector is important for the cultural formation of society and also for the growth of aneconomic power.Finding and disseminating information, portraying good practices andsuccessful projects in Brazilian cultural production is our way of inspiring more andmore people to make Brazilian culture an example to be followed.3
