The speed of technological development is increasing disproportionately, proptech is the concept
of the hour and new companies offering solutions in this area are appearing on the market in large
numbers. For some years, we have been using smartphones and loading apps onto our devices.
We use some applications regularly and over a longer period of time, while many do not deliver the
expected added value and are deleted again. The same is true of services offered for the real estate
industry (and this also applies to all other sectors of the economy): we are in a state of transformation,
of invention, of trail-and-error. What is certain is that the industry will change significantly
over the next few years - and as a service provider we will have to change with it. Nevertheless, we
are convinced that the professional, personal service will continue to have its place in the future.
Technological aids such as VR will support and facilitate, but not completely replace the work of the
real estate agent.
Would say we are in about the ninth hour on the real estate clock - and if we look at the real
estate market retrospectively, we have been there for about 3 years. We believe this will remain
unchanged for the next 1 to 2 years, as we continue to expect low interest rates, ongoing strong
demand and sufficient liquidity in the market for the time being.
