we find detailed explanations and several summary
tables about the process to be followed to define

operations. All business costs related,
for example, to training, office staff,
equipment and so on are taken into account.
The book contains a useful summary table
that lists a number of maintenance operations
that are usually carried out on systems, specifying
for each one the staff units to be employed, the
time required (both direct and indirect) and the
relevant costs, taking into account materials

updated to the Italian market in
2010 (the date of the latest
edition), but the concepts
underlying the reasoning
remain valid today and the
figures can therefore be
easily updated.

In questo testo ha fatto un’analisi dettagliata di tutti
quelli che sono i costi legati alla manutenzione
ordinaria e straordinaria di un impianto di
ascensore. Quindi, nel testo troviamo spiegato in
maniera puntuale e con l’ausilio di diverse tabelle
riepilogative il processo da seguire per definire i
costi, sia del canone di manutenzione, sia di tutte
le principali operazioni di manutenzione ordinaria
e straordinaria. Vengono presi in considerazione
tutti i costi aziendali legati, ad esempio, alla
formazione, al personale d’ufficio, alle attrezzature
e via dicendo. Nel libro si trova un’utile tabella
riepilogativa che elenca una serie di operazioni
di manutenzione che solitamente si attuano sugli
impianti, specificando, per ciascuna, le unità di
personale da impiegare, i tempi di realizzazione
(sia diretti che indiretti) e il relativo costo,
tenendo conto di materiali e manodopera.
Naturalmente i costi sono aggiornati
al mercato italiano del 2010 (data
di ultima edizione del testo), ma i
concetti alla base del ragionamento
restano validi anche oggi e le cifre
possono quindi essere facilmente
aggiornate.

di ispirazione a chi sia in cerca di
qualche testo per arricchire la propria

From the meeting with the engineer Rinaldo Papa
and from a common passion, that of spreading
the culture of the lift sector, a shared project
was born: the spreading of knowledge through
‘podcast’, an innovative tool that enhances
listening more than reading.
So, we decided to put the means of
communication alongside the printed magazine,
the website and the videos of events, to offer our
readers tools that are always in step with the
times, agile and versatile: this is how Elevatori
Magazine decided to dedicate a section of the
website to podcasts and to ‘Ascensori e dintorni’
in particular, the podcast created and edited by
Rinaldo Papa.
Why a podcast? Because it is an agile
and versatile tool, which can accompany persons
interested in the sector even when they are busy
doing something else, such as travelling by car,
or while they are waiting, all these can become
opportunities to listen.

in cui si è impegnati a fare qualcos’altro, come
