2) Correlation between <strong>the</strong> subjects by Hungarian students specialized in Informatics and Romanian<br />

students attending a science course<br />

A partial correlation calculation was done regarding <strong>the</strong> subjects in order to do a deeper analysis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> results by<br />

countries and grades (Falus-Ollé, 2008).<br />

According to <strong>the</strong> table <strong>the</strong> results by Hungarian students in <strong>the</strong> 11 th grade show positive calculated values <strong>of</strong><br />

correlation between <strong>the</strong> subjects (Table V.). The calculated values show middle strong connection between<br />

<strong>the</strong>oretical knowledge and word processing, spreadsheet calculation and programming, between word processing<br />

and spreadsheet calculation, between spreadsheet calculation and programming. The strong <strong>of</strong> correlation is<br />

middle between word processing and programming. The calculated values show weak connection between<br />

<strong>the</strong>oretical knowledge and database management, between word processing and database management, between<br />

database management and programming. We can recognise same results with earlier analysing, <strong>the</strong> Hungarian<br />

students specialized in informatics learn more <strong>the</strong>oretical knowledge, word processing, spreadsheet calculation<br />

and programming but is not in this grade enough time to learn deep database management. We cannot see<br />

connection between database management and programming. I have not analysed <strong>the</strong> object oriented<br />

programming and SQL subject, because <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> successful answers was very low. We can in this point<br />

declare <strong>the</strong> Hungarian students specialized in informatics learn in 11 th grade programming and learned earlier in<br />

basic course <strong>the</strong>oretical knowledge, word processing and spreadsheet calculation.<br />

In <strong>the</strong> table we can see <strong>the</strong> calculated values and <strong>the</strong> strength <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> correlation between <strong>the</strong> subjects (Table VI.).<br />

The calculated values show middle connection between <strong>the</strong>oretical knowledge and word processing. The strong <strong>of</strong><br />

correlation is middle between database management and programming. It means <strong>the</strong> correlation is stronger by<br />
