No Action Alternative
The No Action Alternative would occur if Ormat was prevented from implementing the Project
as proposed on federal lands, and the environmental effects from implementation of the Project
would not occur as proposed. Implementation of the No Action Alternative would not meet
Ormat’s purpose and need for the proposed Project. Selection of the No Action Alternative may
also impair geothermal development rights granted to Ormat through the issuance of the Unit.
