To comply with NEPA, the BLM is required to address specific elements <strong>of</strong> the environment that<br />

are subject to requirements specified in statute or regulation or by executive order (BLM 1988<br />

<strong>and</strong> BLM 2008a). Table 6 outlines the elements that must be addressed in all environmental<br />

assessments, as well as other resources deemed appropriate for evaluation by the BLM, <strong>and</strong><br />

denotes if the Proposed Action or No Action Alternative affects those elements.<br />
