29 Paul said, “I pray to God that not only you, but all who hear me this day, might
become not only almost, but thoroughly and altogether, what I am, except for
these chains.”
30 When he had said this, the king rose, as well as the governor and Bernice and
those who sat with them. 31 When they had gone aside, they said to one another,
“This man is doing nothing deserving death or imprisonment.”
32 And Agrippa said to Festus, “This man could have been set free if he had not
appealed to Caesar.”
The Gospel has been presented in the following fashion,
1. Paul tesfied of who he was as a Pharisee.
2. Paul tesfied of his conversion.
3. Paul appeals to his hearers to believe.

Paul's Arrival in Rome
Paul Preaches in Rome, Acts 28:17-31
17 Aer three days Paul called the leaders of the Jews together. When they had
assembled, he said to them, “Brothers, having done nothing contrary to our
people or the customs of our fathers, I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem
into the hands of the Romans. 18 When they had examined me, they were
determined to release me, because there was no charge against me deserving
death. 19 But when the Jews objected, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar, not
that I had any charge to bring against my naon. 20 For this reason I have asked to
see you and speak with you, because I am bound with this chain for the hope of
Israel.”
