Romans 10:19 says; But I say, did Israel not know? First, Moses says: “I will make
you jealous by those who are not a naon, and by a foolish naon I will anger
you.” [j] Paul was referencing; Deuteronomy 32:21 says; They have made Me
jealous with that which is not God; they have provoked Me to anger with their
empty things. And I will make them jealous of those who are not a people; I will
provoke them to anger with a foolish naon.
Romans 10:20 says; And Isaiah is very bold and says: “I was found by those who
did not seek Me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for Me.” [k] Paul was
referencing; Isaiah 65:1 says; I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was
found of those who did not seek Me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a naon
that did not call on My name.
Romans 10:21 says; But to Israel, He says: “All day long I have stretched out My
hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”[l] Paul was referencing; Isaiah 65:2
says; I have spread out My hands all day to a rebellious people who walk in a way
that was not good, aer their own thoughts;
Know Your Bible, by Barbour Publishing, a handbook of all 66 books of the bible
summarizes the leter to the Romans in 10 words saying; “Sinners are saved only
by faith in Jesus Christ.”
Sinners are not saved by prayers, leading them to think they are is unbiblical. A
sinner is saved by living faith in Jesus Christ.
Life in Christ begins with making the decision to follow and then learning what
following means so that you live it out daily. Whilst some Chrisan programs are
useful, living your life for Christ is simply to do jusce and to love kindness, and to
walk humbly with God.
Micah 6:8 - He has told you, O man, what is good— and what does the Lord
require of you, but to do jusce and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with
your God?
