up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For
our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical
opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of
this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly
(supernatural) places.
We fought some crazy manifestaons, Vanessa used to see a short litle demon
following me around, demons would shake me awake at night to curse me, Every
night they came back for weeks, Warlocks would be in my room, witches would
bang on my bedroom window a story off the ground, and I had to learn to put on
the full armor of God. I had no one I could talk to about what was going on,
nobody believed me.
Everyone but my wife who saw what I was going through thought I was foolish
and so I had to learn to trust in the Holy Spirit to guide me and teach me.
Instead of being defeated and forced to look up at every problem I faced, I put
them under my feet and said Lord, show us your way out. Once I grasped the fact
that I was new in Christ I understood I also had authority in Christ and began using
it.
I had to confess many things to Vanessa aer that day God became real to me.
We went through a rough patch, but it didn’t last long, because the Spirit of God
was and sll is acvely working in both our lives and there was no room available
for un-forgiveness to move in.
God unified us, we started praying together and picking up the pieces, giving them
to God we have been able to help others do the same. We have been together for
20 years and married for 17 at this point. My wife is my partner, she is oen out
on the streets with me, she prays for the sick and God has been working through
her to minister healing to our neighbors. From my youngest to my eldest kids, I
have seen God use all of them to minister on the streets.
For more than 20 years I lived by the sword. And with one touch from God, and
my saying yes, He broke it all of my life and gave me a new one. Some things I see
others struggle with God just took from me and gave me the faith to break them
