THE MECHANICS OF OUR BUS MINISTRY
As some of us go into the bi-ways and highways inving people to the bus the
doorway gets very congested as people line up for a meal and a seat on the bus.
We want people to sit down, it makes it easier to take control of the crowd and
easier to reach them with the gospel one-on-one and we can preach the word to
groups at a me as people come and go.
SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. Don’t block the bus door, people will simply leave. We don’t want to lose
any opportunity to share the Gospel. If you are working at the serving
staon instruct people to go sit down and they will be served, it keeps the
isle flowing and people’s tempers from flaring up and being pushed back
and forward.
2. Don’t wander from the bus alone, always teams of two.
3. Always keep the bus in sight and sound reach.
4. There are three ministering parts to this bus ministry.
a. Ministering one on one on the bus.
b. Ministering one-on-one outside the bus and direcng folk to the bus.
c. Serving at the food staon.
It oen gets too busy to direct the team to areas of need that arise. Everybody
should be aware of each other and take turns in the different posions and step in
to help each other. We are there to serve the community and each other.
