Things didn’t get easy, I oen hear evangelists say, “Come to Jesus and He will
make it all beter”, but that’s a lie.
Jesus said, John 16:33 (AMP) I have told you these things, so that in Me you may
have [perfect] peace. In the world, you have tribulaon and distress and suffering,
but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have
overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
The devil tried to take my 2-year-old son, the doctors told us to say goodbye, he
was on life support, and they told us he would be brain dead if he lived, but we
prayed, and whilst praying God said to go and pray for the other people in the
ward and trust me with your boy, we did and hours later he was pulling out the
breathing tubes. We defeated the lies of the devil and Joshua went from life
support to home in hours. Aer doing every test they could to find something
wrong with him the pediatric specialist simply said it was a miracle and sent us
home.
I learned that if you need healing, lay your hands on someone who needs healing,
trust God with yours, and set someone free.
During that me a few Chrisans rallied to support us, and a dear friend came in
the hospital and breathed life back into us, reading us Psalm 91. Verse 2 from the
AMP says, “I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in
whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
A couple of days aer geng out of the hospital Joshua walked into my office, I
was studying healing and he pointed at the light and said, “Jesus is in the light, He
was holding my hand.” Joshua has been a young preacher ever since asking
people he meets if they know God, and joining me in praying for people.
I started to take the Word seriously and renew my mind, I read the bible backward
and forwards, changed translaons, and started again. I read books from men who
take ground, and I pracced what I was learning.
The biggest problem I faced was that I wasn’t sure what God's will was because I
had learned a whole lot of theology that taught me to have faith in the open
heavens and so when I prayed, that doubt of wondering if God had opened the
heavens today limited what God could do through me.
