An effecve ministry is one where God is in control, it’s not controlled by human
emoon or guilt to serve the Lord. Effecve ministry is effecve because the Holy
Spirit is leading the way, the team is obedient to God's direcon and the church is
supporng the team holding them Biblically accountable to the direcons the Lord
is telling them to go.
In listening to the Holy Spirit a few of us have expanded into Saturdays,
spontaneous event outreach, and Sunday Church pickup. For this ministry to be
faithful we need fans, the church, and our leadership to support it both financially
and in stepping into our individual and corporate calling to cater to the needs of
the folk that come seeking the Lord on Sundays, Movie nights, Bible studies, and
the like.
God needs us to be ready to receive, love, and disciple the broken He draws in. He
knows our hearts; He cannot trust us with many when we cannot disciple the few.
(He will never give us more than we can handle) We need to decide what we want
more; we are either here to serve and save souls to share in eternal life with our
King or we are here for Sunday church.
Each and every person here has a different giing, each gi builds the next person
up. My strengths may be your weakness, but my weakness is your strengths,
together we are more effecve.
Romans 12:6-8 We have different gis, according to the grace given to each of us.
If your gi is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is
serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give
encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently;
if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Ephesians 4:11-13 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the
evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service,
so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 unl we all reach unity in the faith
and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, ataining to the
whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Each me we are out on the streets God draws people in, He uses us to share the
fire. He gets addicts out of bed at 9 am to stand on a corner waing for a ride to
