Luke 18:1-8 He told them a parable to illustrate that it is necessary always to pray
and not lose heart. 2 He said: “In a city there was a judge who did not fear God or
regard man. 3 And a widow was in that city. She came to him, saying, ‘Avenge me
against my adversary.’
4 “He would not for a while. Yet aerward he said to himself, ‘Though I do not fear
God or respect man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest
by her connual coming she will weary me.’ ”
6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge says. 7 And shall not God avenge
His own elect and be paent with them, who cry day and night to Him? 8 I tell
you, He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes,
will He find faith on the earth?”
John 14:12-15 Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me will do the works
that I do also. And he will do greater works than these, because I am going to My
Father. 13 I will do whatever you ask in My name, that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 15:7 This I command you: that you love one another.
John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you
should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may
give you whatever you ask Him in My name.
The word “believe” indicates the act and process of faith. “believe” is the present
tense of “Piss,” faith and must be connued, to get its benefits.
Acts 14:22 strengthening the minds of the disciples and exhorng them to
connue in the faith, to go through many afflicons and thus enter the kingdom of
God.
Ephesians 6:16 and above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be
able to exnguish all the fiery arrows of the evil one.
