What is stopping you from obeying the command to preach the <strong>Gospel</strong>?<br />

What we need to remember in preaching the <strong>Gospel</strong> is what Jesus told His<br />
followers, Acts 1:4-5 says, Being assembled with them, He commanded them, “Do<br />
not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, of which you<br />
have heard from Me. 5 For John bapzed with water, but you shall be bapzed<br />
with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”<br />
Going into all the world and effecvely preaching the <strong>Gospel</strong>, requires the bapsm<br />
of the Holy Spirit! Be obedient in your hometown and God will send you to the<br />
naons, that is a guarantee because the harvest is plenful, but the laborers are<br />
few. Be faithful to the street corner, or any other plaorm you have, and God will<br />
make available open doors into the naons.<br />
Faithfulness opens doors, but doors come at a cost you will have to make up your<br />
mind to carry if you will decide to go through them. That cost is not always only<br />
financial but can also mean missing out on your kid's first steps, first words, or first<br />
ball game, losing a brother, or missing your wedding anniversary, and that special<br />
someone's birthday, it could mean going through a door Chrisans less sold-out<br />
condemn you for walking through and many mes you will have to decide as did<br />
all the Apostles before you, “We must obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).<br />
Is there a cost you are not willing to pay?<br />

Peters and the other Apostles' opening statement to the Sanhedrin who were<br />
jealous of the works of the Holy Spirit through them, drawing the crowds and<br />
converng them, because of the signs and wonders confirming the <strong>Gospel</strong> of<br />
