I was only going to use one or two of the manual references but I decided since my ministry and character will be scrutinized by readers disagreeing with my doctrinal positions concerning some of the topics I present here, which I support with scripture and not my opinion, that I will add traceable character references from various locations around the globe so that you will have a clear picture of who I am and the fruit my ministry produces preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ just as the bible teaches the apostles preached, and lived it. EXAMPLE 2 (5-7 min message) healing<br />
DON’T LET YOUR SAVIOUR SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS (THE POOL AT<br />
BETHESDA)<br />
We all fall short of the Glory of God, but Scripture says we must ask, and it will be<br />
given; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Mathew<br />
7:7)<br />
In John chapter 5 we read that Jesus visited the pool of Bethesda, now in<br />
Jerusalem, near the Sheep Gate, there is a pool, which is called in Hebrew (Jewish<br />
Aramaic) Bethesda, having five porcoes (alcoves, colonnades). 3 In these<br />
porcoes lay a great number of people who were sick, blind, lame, withered,<br />
[waing for the srring of the water; 4 for an angel of the Lord went down into<br />
the pool at appointed seasons and srred up the water; the first one to go in aer<br />
the water was srred was healed of his disease.] 5 <strong>The</strong>re was a certain man there<br />
who had been ill for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus noced him lying there<br />
[helpless], knowing that he had been in that condion a long me, He said to him,<br />
“Do you want to get well?” 7 <strong>The</strong> invalid answered, “Sir, I have no one to put me in<br />
the pool when the water is srred up, and while I am coming [to get into it<br />
myself], someone else steps down ahead of me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Get up; pick<br />
up your pallet and walk.” 9 Immediately the man was healed and recovered his<br />
strength, and picked up his pallet and walked. (John 5:2-9 AMP)<br />
Jesus asked this guy if he wanted to get well, and instead of saying yes Lord he<br />
babbles on about how he can’t get into the pool first when the angel comes and<br />
srs the water. <strong>The</strong> commander in chief, the King of kings, the only one who could<br />
heal him, the one who sends all angels, was standing right next to Him and he was<br />
focused on what He must do to be healed.<br />
Many of us suffer with this today, we focus enrely on what we must do, and<br />
never give a second thought to what Jesus has already done, our doubt, our<br />
experience, and fear take over, superseding the Word of God, superseding the<br />
promises, plans, and purposes God has for our life. But Scripture says by His<br />
