What will I learn?<br />
This course allows you to sample all<br />
areas of performing arts and music<br />
before choosing a pathway that<br />
suits you.<br />

learn practical skills in dance,<br />
acting, stage management<br />
and musical theatre<br />
Music performance - where<br />
you'll develop practical<br />
skills in music performance<br />
and composition<br />
Music technology - where<br />
you will be introduced to the<br />
recording studio, live sound,<br />
events management and DJing.<br />
On each of these you'll work<br />
collaboratively with other students,<br />
curating and taking part in<br />
performances for live audiences in<br />
our professional theatre and other<br />
venues to build your confidence as<br />
a creative.<br />

What will I learn?<br />
You’ll be taught by leading industry<br />
professionals, have instrumental<br />
lessons, study graded music theory<br />
and have the opportunity to study<br />
graded instrumental syllabus (RGT,<br />
LCM and Rock <strong>School</strong>).<br />
Your lessons will be both practical<br />
and theoretical culminating in<br />
weekly live venue performance<br />
workshops in our professional<br />
theatre as well as other<br />
performances in local<br />
professional venues.<br />
Production & DJ<br />
Level 3<br />

2 Years<br />
Entry requirements<br />
Four GCSE grades at 4 or above,<br />
including English and preferably<br />
maths.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
On this course you'll develop<br />
your skills in the fundamentals of<br />
studio recording, composition and<br />
acoustic, learning all aspects of<br />
music production including mixing,<br />
mastering, sound design and<br />
engineering. You can specialise<br />
in electronic music production,<br />
song writing, live sound, event<br />
management, sound engineering,<br />
music promotion and digital<br />
marketing.<br />
You'll work alongside the music<br />
performance and production<br />
arts students, our expert staff and<br />
industry pros in a vibrant student<br />
community to create your own<br />
musical masterpieces. You will learn<br />
how to turn simple music ideas<br />
into finished work ready for digital<br />
distribution or live performance.<br />
