Application process
1. Complete an application form.
Fill in a form on our website.
2. Have a chat with our teachers.
When we receive your form we'll be in touch to
arrange for you to come into college to have a
chat with one of our teachers. This will give you the
opportunity to get to know them, find out about
the college, our courses and get answers to your
questions. If you’d like to progress your application,
we’ll sort this for you.
3. Have an audition.
For some of our courses (music, dance and
performing arts), you’ll need an audition and we’ll
get in touch to arrange this. You’ll be given a date
and time and be told exactly what to expect.
4. Keep in touch.
We’ll invite you to our Say Hello events throughout
the year where you can discover more about your
course, get to know your teachers and meet your
future classmates.
5. Start college.
You’ll confirm your grades with us in August 2024
and we’ll get you ready for starting college in
September.
APPRENTICESHIPS.
You apply for an apprenticeship in
the same way you apply for a job.
Find our vacancies on our website.
Can’t find a vacancy?
If you can’t find an apprenticeship vacancy that’s right
for you, you can start a vocational study programme.
Then, when a vacancy becomes available, we’ll help
you to apply and transfer across. Sign up for our
vacancy alerts on our website.
Application process
1. Search for a vacancy.
Visit our website or the National Apprenticeship
Service’s website to browse apprenticeship
vacancies.
2. Register online.
Create an account with the National Apprenticeship
Service. Visit www.gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship.
3. Complete an application form

4. Interview selection.
If your application is shortlisted, an apprenticeship
adviser will have a chat with you and help you to
prepare for your interview.
5. Interview.
You’ll attend an interview with the employer to talk
about your skills and experience. This may be done
virtually or in person.
6. You’re hired!
What happens if I’m not successful?
We’ll help you to find another vacancy
or you could start a vocational study
programme.
