Entry requirements<br />
Three GCSEs at grade 4 or above,<br />
including English and maths.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
This course allows you to sample all<br />
areas of performing arts and music<br />
before choosing a pathway that<br />
suits you.<br />
You can choose from four<br />
different strands:<br />
● Performing arts - where you'll<br />
learn practical skills in singing,<br />
acting, stage management<br />
and musical theatre<br />
● Dance – where you’ll develop<br />
your creative, technical<br />
and performance skills<br />
● Music performance - where<br />
you'll develop practical<br />
skills in music performance,<br />
composition and production,<br />
as well as event management<br />
● Music technology/DJ – where<br />
you will be introduced to the<br />
recording studio, live sound,<br />
events management and DJing.<br />
On each of these you'll work<br />
collaboratively with other students,<br />
curating and taking part in<br />
performances for live audiences in<br />
our professional theatre and other<br />
venues to build your confidence as<br />
a creative.<br />
