An appropriate vocational<br />
qualification at Level 1 or some<br />
GCSEs grade 3 or above, preferably<br />
including English and maths.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
Get a solid grounding in a range<br />
of production techniques for visual<br />
and audio media using the latest<br />
techniques and systems. You’ll find<br />
out how to develop ideas, work as<br />
part of a team, conduct effective<br />
research, plan projects and meet<br />
deadlines.<br />
You’ll also develop your<br />
communication and presentation<br />
skills, find out how the media<br />
industry operates and work on<br />
maximising your chances of<br />
securing a job or progressing to<br />
further education or training.<br />
The course includes some contact<br />
with our industry partners and<br />
you’ll be encouraged to take up<br />
work experience and networking<br />
opportunities. On completion, you<br />
can progress to our Level 3 course.<br />
