What will I learn?<br />
If you’re looking to expand on your<br />
existing beauty skills and specialise<br />
in make-up within the media<br />
industry, this course is for you.<br />
You will develop your understanding<br />
of working in the film, television<br />
and theatre industry as well as<br />
having the opportunity to recreate<br />
historical hair and make-up looks<br />
and current media make-up and<br />
creative hair designs.<br />
The course includes the creation<br />
and presentation of a look-book<br />
and an industry portfolio as well<br />
as the application of body art and<br />
camouflage make-up.<br />
Advanced<br />
Nail Technician<br />
Level 3<br />

1 year<br />
Entry requirements<br />
Level 2 Beauty Therapy,<br />
Hairdressing or Nail Technology.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
This specialist course gives<br />
you the skills, knowledge and<br />
understanding required to perform<br />
nail enhancements and advanced<br />
nail art techniques.<br />
The course includes the use of<br />
gel and acrylic nail enhancement<br />
products, how to design and apply<br />
nail art and airbrush design as well<br />
as helping you to develop excellent<br />
communication, team working and<br />
client care skills.<br />
On completion, you can progress<br />
into work in the media make-up<br />
industry or go on to specialist<br />
further study.<br />
As a student on one of our<br />
Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy<br />
courses, you will also be part of<br />
CoLab, an innovative approach to<br />
gaining experience of collaborating in<br />
