What will I learn?<br />
You’ll work in our professional<br />
salon. With a focus on hairdressing<br />
techniques, you’ll develop<br />
skills in colour enhancement,<br />
plaiting and twisting, cutting<br />
techniques and creative styling.<br />
You’ll have the chance to<br />
enter national hair competitions<br />
and will complete an industry<br />
placement one day a week<br />
to help develop your<br />
communication and creativity<br />

Level 1 Hairdressing.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
You'll get a range of essential<br />
technical, practical knowledge<br />
and skills, which will equip you<br />
to seek either further training or<br />
employment as a junior stylist.<br />
Master your skills in shampooing,<br />
conditioning, styling, finishing<br />
and setting hair, cutting and<br />
colouring techniques.<br />
Following successful completion<br />
of this qualification you'll be<br />
qualified to work in a number<br />
of roles in hairdressing salons,<br />
hotels or cruise ships.<br />
Advanced Hair Artistry<br />
and Styling<br />
Level 3<br />
Duration<br />
1 year<br />
Entry requirements<br />
Level 2 Hairdressing.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
You'll spend a year with us<br />
developing the knowledge and<br />
skills required in today's fast paced,<br />
creative hairdressing industry.<br />
You'll study and develop<br />
advanced skills in hairdressing<br />
consultation services, cutting<br />
techniques, creative colouring,<br />
hair colour correction, creative<br />
styling and dressing, hair<br />
extensions and hair design.<br />
Working as part of our professional<br />
team in our commercial salon,<br />
you will have the opportunity to<br />
perfect your customer care skills<br />
and understand what it means<br />
to work as part of an effective<br />
team dealing with paying clients.<br />
You'll also have the opportunity<br />
to build your own portfolio<br />
of work and enter regional<br />
and national competitions.<br />
