of engineering to specialise in

knowledge for a career in the
industry:

Focusing on CNC and manual
machining, fitting and assembly
applications
Electrical
Focusing on Electrical
installation, wiring and testing
circuits, electrical engineering
principles, electrical systems
and devices
General Engineering
Focusing on welding techniques,
electrical circuits, testing and
fault diagnosis and CAD
Our industry standard workshops
have a range of equipment which
you’ll get to grips with during your
course:
● MIG/MAG
● MMA
● TIG
● Milling machines
● Lathes
● Hand tools
● Oscilloscopes
● Soldering irons
● Box pan folders
● Swaging machines
● Presses
You'll also study English and maths
as well as doing a work experience
placement with an engineering
employer.
This course is designed to prepare
you for an apprenticeship and you'll
be able to apply for one with our
employer partners and continue
your studies or you'll be able to
progress onto one of our Level 3
courses.
