Visual documentation of the Casa di Meleagro, 1959-1982 Physical Description: 15.1 linear feet, 25 flat file folders, 4 rolls Scope and Content Note This subseries (circa 3,000 items) comprises visual documentation of the Casa di Meleagro and Vander Poel's work there. Photographic materials form the majority of this subseries. They record Vander Poel's excavations in the Casa di Meleagro, and the neighboring Casa del Duca d'Aumale, Casa del Centauro and the Vicolo del Fauno, his soundings throughout the site and the state of the house in this period. Plans and architectural drawings constitute the rest of the subseries. Of particular interest are the reconstruction drawings of room decoration commissioned by Vander Poel.
