Type of record and variety identifier
The identifier identifies uniquely a variety which has an application number for Plant
Breeders’ Rights or the National List. For PBR the identifier is the application number and
for NLI it is a counter.
Date + denomination proposed, first appearance or first entry in the database
The denomination is proposed by the applicant, the date is the date the office received the
proposal.
Date + proposed denomination, published, Date + denomination, approved by Plant Variety Board,
Date + denomination, rejected or withdrawn
The publication is done in the Plant Variety Board Official Journal.
Breeder’s reference
Reference given by the applicant at the time of the application.
