For NLI expiration is December 31 of the year of the last inscription, for NLI withdrawal it
is the date when the Board decided to delete the variety.
Applicant’s name
Breeder
Legal or physical person who filed the application. In case of change of applicant, before
the decision for PBR/NLI is taken, the new applicant is given as applicant.
For PBR physical person(s) given always given as breeder(s). For NLI the breeder’s name
is used in case there is an original breeder known for this variety.
Title holder’s name
The actual holder of the PBR grant.
Maintainer’s name
The maintenance is only for NLI. The maintainer is responsible for the technical
maintenance of the variety and the payment of the fees.
Application in other countries - priority
Only if the applicant claims priority from an application made prior in another country the
information given concerns only PBR.
Other useful information
The DUS-examinations in Sweden are conducted by the Swedish Board of Agriculture, Seed
Division, for Sugar beet, Swede rape, Oats, Barley and Spring Wheat.
