O stands <strong>for</strong> Vegetables Species, A stands <strong>for</strong> Agricultural Crops a six-digit number.<br />
Plant breeder’s rights variety identifiers<br />
It consist <strong>of</strong> three parts:<br />
· a four-digit number;<br />
· NV stands <strong>for</strong> “Novità Vegetale” (Plant Breeders Rights)<br />
· a four-digit number indicating <strong>the</strong> year <strong>of</strong> application.<br />
