Identification number ()
The identification number is formed with the addition of two numbers:
· Code of species (first three digits), and
· Reference number of a variety within that species.
The identification number is the same for the same variety whether it has been applied for in
PBR or in NLI.
Denominations with dates
Only the first and last dates are available so far:
First date: date of application (in case of varieties which have not been or are not protected
or listed, the date represents the date of the first appearance—same as )
Last date : date of grant/registration
The breeder’s reference is repeated in the first occurrence of the proposed (first)
denomination field .
