Grant number
For plant breeders rights, a certificate number is given. For the National list, the
application number (210) is kept.
Start date grant
For PBR, the start of the grant is the date the decision is modified.
For NLI, publication is made in the Journal officiel de la République Française. This date
is not typed in the database. The entry on the National list is on a yearly basis. So the date
given is January 1 of the year of the list.
Start date renewal
End date
For NLI only, year of the last renewal, January 1 of the year following the year of the end
of grant.
For NLI, expiration is December 31 of the year of the last entry,
for NLI, withdrawal is December 31 of the year in which the withdrawal decision has been
taken by the maintainer.
Applicant’s name
For NLI: legal or natural person who filed the application, responsible for the
administrative procedures
For PBR: name of the applicant who will be the future owner of the grant.
Maintainer’s name
Maintenance is only for NLI. The maintainer is responsible for the technical maintenance
of the variety and the payment of fees.
