Application identifier<br />

An application identifier consists in three parts:<br />

- a one-letter or two-letters type code (O - <strong>for</strong> PBR, SO - <strong>for</strong> PBR in case <strong>of</strong> varieties applied<br />

be<strong>for</strong>e June 30, 1996 and R - <strong>for</strong> NLI, SR - <strong>for</strong> NLI in case <strong>of</strong> varieties applied be<strong>for</strong>e June 30,<br />

1996),<br />

- a one-letter plant's group code (R - <strong>for</strong> agricultural plants, W - <strong>for</strong> vegetables, O - <strong>for</strong><br />

ornamental plants, S - <strong>for</strong> fruit trees and berry plants and P - <strong>for</strong> miscellaneous plants),<br />

- a five-digits number within plant's group.<br />

Grant/registration identifier<br />

A grant identifier consists <strong>of</strong> two parts:<br />

- one-letter plant's group code (R - <strong>for</strong> agricultural plants, W - <strong>for</strong> vegetables, O - <strong>for</strong> ornamental<br />

plants, S - <strong>for</strong> fruit trees and berry plants and P - <strong>for</strong> miscellaneous plants),<br />

- a five-digit number within plant's group.<br />

A registration identifier consists <strong>of</strong> three parts:<br />

- a one-letter type code (R - <strong>for</strong> NLI, S - <strong>for</strong> NLI in case <strong>of</strong> varieties listed be<strong>for</strong>e April 1, 1988)<br />

- one-letter plant's group code (R - <strong>for</strong> agricultural plants, W - <strong>for</strong> vegetables, O - <strong>for</strong> ornamental<br />

plants and S - <strong>for</strong> fruit trees and berry plants )<br />

- a five-digits number within plant's group.
