9. DETERIORATION IN THE VALUE OF<br />

ASSETS<br />

As specified in the standard, the Company will assess, at<br />

each financial statement closing, whether deterioration in<br />

the value of any assets has occurred. If so, the Company<br />

will estimate the recoverable amount of the asset.<br />

The assumptions used by the company to calculate the value<br />

in use do not represent any significant changes at the closing<br />

of the year ended at December 31, 2011.<br />

10. PROVISIONS AND CONTINGENT<br />

a) Provisions<br />

The information to be disclosed on provisions corresponds<br />

to obligations in place at the date of the financial statements<br />

arising from past events the amounts and times of payment<br />

of which are uncertain, are recorded in the statement of<br />

financial position as provisions for the current value of the<br />

most probable amount that the Company is estimated to<br />

have to pay to discharge the obligation.<br />

with an obligation to do; alternatively, action for contingent<br />

Plaintiff: Sociedad Concesionaria <strong>Túnel</strong> <strong>San</strong> <strong>Cristóbal</strong> S.A.<br />

Defendant: Publicidad en Ruta Comunicación y Difusión S.A.<br />

Amount sought: Not applicable.<br />

Status: A claim was filed in a Summary Trial to relieve<br />

Sociedad Concesionaria <strong>Túnel</strong> <strong>San</strong> <strong>Cristóbal</strong> S.A. from any<br />

disturbance or hindrance in the enjoyment of the object, as<br />

per what is provided in article 1924 No. 3 of the Civil Code.<br />

The removal of advertising elements that prevent the use of<br />

the real estate under the Purchase Promise Contract entered<br />

into through a public deed dated January 2, at the Notary<br />

Public’s Office of <strong>San</strong>tiago of Mr. José Musalem Saffie,<br />

between Sociedad Concesionaria <strong>Túnel</strong> <strong>San</strong> <strong>Cristóbal</strong> S.A.<br />

and the Defendant, was requested by way of a third party. At<br />

December 31, 2011 the Summary Trial has been dismissed.<br />
