Jeudi 19 septembre – de Paris à Venise à bord du train Venice-
Simplon-Orient-Express

avant le repas ? Un dîner préparé à bord par des chefs cuisiniers
français vous est servi. Puis vous prendrez peut-être un dernier
verre dans la voiture piano-bar avant de vous retirer pour la
nuit dans votre cabine convertie entre temps en chambre confortable

Vendredi 20 septembre – Arrivée à Venise (Italie)
Au réveil, vous jouirez d’un panorama magnifique sur les Alpes
suisses tandis que le steward vous sert le petit déjeuner en cabine
à l’heure souhaitée. Vous bavarderez avec les autres voyageurs

travel experience. The onboard staff
will be constantly on hand to cater for
all your requests. Each cabin has its
own toilet cubicle with a washbasin,
hot and cold water, damask towels
and toiletry products. The highlights
of life on board are lunch and dinner,
for they are very special and memorable
experiences. All dishes are prepared
on board by French cooks, and
use only the finest fresh produce
throughout the trip. This unique travel
experience is as much about the
comfortable cabins, cosy havens of
fine marquetry and shining brass, as it
is about the superlative onboard staff,

to Istanbul begins. You’ll have a personal
steward on hand to attend to
you throughout the trip. Once you’ve
comfortably settled in to your cabin,
you can get ready for dinner, dress
code 1930s, Charleston. But why not
have a drink first in the piano-bar car
before dinner? A dinner cooked
onboard by French chefs. Then you
might enjoy a nightcap in the pianobar
car before retiring to your cabin,
which your steward will have converted
into a comfortable bedroom.
Friday 20th September – Arrival
in Venice (Italy)
You’ll awake to a magnificent view
over the Swiss Alps, before your steward
comes to serve you breakfast in
the cabin at the time of your choosing.
Then chat away to your fellow
travellers over a coffee in the pianobar
car, before sitting down for lunch
in one of the beautiful restaurant cars.
You may then return to the privacy of
your cabin for the afternoon, to relax
and admire the unique landscape of
the Italian Dolomites. Tea will be served
in the cabin as the train crosses
the Brenner Pass. And you’ll soon
have to prepare for arrival in Venice,
where the train will run alongside the
lagoon before it arrives at Santa Lucia
station.
