In 2011 the Saloni celebrated 50 years, in thecourse of the years this event became a peculiarcharacteristic of the city of Milan. The Salone Internazionale delMobile e dei Mobili per Cucina (InternationalFurniture and Kitchen Exhibition), EuroCucina, the Salone Internazionale del Bagno(International Bathroom Exhibition), the SaloneInternazionale del Complemento d’Arredo(International Furniture ComplementExhibition) and the Salone Satellite (SatelliteExhibition) will cover 209.000 square metersof the fair district. The 51st edition is waitingfor 300.000 visitors, to confirm the trust thatalways countersigned the exhibitors, 2.500in this edition. The homage to the men whogave a great contribution to the world ofdesign thanks to their creativity and to theirskills. “Design Dance” is a show, in collaborationwith the Teatro dell’arte della Triennale,to let dance, give a voice, a body tothose objects that contributed to the dreamof the Italian design.
